by Jason Godbey

[June 3, 2002- Brooklyn, NY] On Friday the 25th Edition of the Brooklyn Film Festival kicked off at Windmill Studios in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. The new indie feature film Signs of Love had it’s world premiere, and entertainment industry professionals along with film fans packed the small venue to celebrate the festival’s 25th anniversary.

Executive Director Marco Ursino (pictured above) was on hand and spoke with our own Kayla Vera about the festival’s history, it’s meaning, and plans for the future.
