Bowery Film Festival 2019-Opening Night

New York, NY, April 12th- No Rest for the Weekend was there for the opening night party of the Bowery Film Festival. Our own Ilaria Malvezzi interviewed some of the filmmakers on hand (click on the name of the films for complete interviews): Alexis Karl, Co-Director of The Lex Requiem, Julie Sharbutt, Writer/Director of 3 Days, and Director Scott J. Ramsey and Composer/Producer Kevin De Nicolo of Fool.

Bowery Film Festival was co-founded by Geoffrey Guerrero who also founded Bowery’s sister fest, The Katra Film Series. Geoffrey talks about Katra and gives his tips for filmmakers on this week’s episode of the podcast.

2050 Movie Premiere

No Rest for the Weekend Corespondent Ilaria Malvezzi interviewed director Princeton Holt (video above) along with some of the stars of his latest film 2050, the new sci-fi/drama from Hewes Pictures starring Dean Cain. The film premiered on February 14th 2019 at the SVA Theater in New York City.

Also interviewed were actors; David Vaughn, Irina Abraham, Devin Fuller, Stefanie Bloom, Chris Riquinha, Shannone Holt, Jace Nicole, and Jonathan Erolino.
