Newly Remastered Episodes 1 and 2 Are Now Available on Spotify

We’re excited to announce Watch This Film is now streaming on Spotify and coming soon to more podcast platforms. In a world full of streaming content, Watch This Film is a movie recommendation vodcast dedicated to helping movie fans discover new titles to watch and enjoy.

We’re starting with the first two episodes in which we discuss the Academy Award winning Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) with filmmaker Richard Lemay (Blood Bound, Dementia 13), and the stop-motion neo-classic Coraline with actor Simone Policano (Blue Bloods, Auggie). All of the episodes have been newly remastered and will be released biweekly.

On April 30th we’ll release our episode on Cameron Crowe’s coming-of-age drama Almost Famous with actor Joseph Melendez (Fast 5, Ozark). In future episodes will bring you the innovative horror The Others with filmmaker/actor Kate Forsatz (Thre3bound), Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom with actor Cait Cortelyou (The Knick, Ask for Jane), and George Clooney’s debut feature Confessions of a Dangerous Mind with producer/Media Universe Cartographer Evan Shapiro (Portlandia, Cooper’s Bar).

Watch This Film was created in 2019, and since then the world of entertainment and the world at large have both changed dramatically. There’s been political upheaval, war, a global pandemic, two entertainment industry strikes, and in September last year, Joseph Melendez tragically passed away. We dedicate this show to his memory. Movies are our passion. They bring us joy and help us cope with the changes around us. We hope this series will enrich and enhance your movie experience and help you find more films to love.

If you’d like to watch the show, the series video is streaming on Spotify, and you can follow us on Instagram for more video content including Watch This Film: Special Features, a series of videos about classic films you won’t want to miss.
